so I decided to post about disneyworld now with the pictures I have at hand. then I'll post the real camera ones later.
We sadly didn't take a lot of pictures, because it was difficult getting Lincoln in and out of the stroller for photo opps. And we ran him ragged so he napped a lot. it's a small world put him to sleep. The safari put him to sleep, the Epcot space ride put him to sleep. .
the Magic kingdom was just like Disneyland so we rode all the basics. Lincoln was able to ride most rides. pirates of the Caribbean, Winnie the pooh, dumbo, it's a small world 2x, people movers , carousel of progress(horrible boring show) splash mountain separately and haunted mansion- all you moms, perfect place to nurse. we saw the electrical light parade, which was a dream come true. I can still hear the music in my head. oh and you choose to ride the monorail to get to the kingdom or a beautiful lit up ferry boat! It's magical.
the next day we went to animal kingdom first. we went on an African safari, I loved it! it was such a long experience for a theme park and cooler than walking around a zoo. We saw giraffe super close, and rhinos were blocking the road so we had to sit and wait, and we saw hippos! One was swimming and it reminded me of the hippos in tutus from the fantasmic movie. we went on an actual coaster "everest"something, separately , it was so fun I went twice. We also saw the bugs life show and walked to all the areas. I tried a frozen banana-delish! and we all wore full brimmed hats that day, just incase people didn't think we were tourists! Then we went to Epcot, rode the two space rides and watched the firework show.
We were exhausted and so hungry we might pass out! So we drove to the downtown Disney to eat but everything was jammed packed. we dejectedly got back into the car and drove back to the same Mexican place as the night before!
Then once we got our second wind from our fajitas and diet coke, we went back to the magic kingdom from midnight to 2 am and believe it or not Lincoln was an angel all day! Those final two hours were my very favorite. it was cool out, all the lights, and hardly any lines. it was a dream vacation really. I shed happy tears several times.
I know everyone thinks their own baby is adorable but Lincoln got a bazillion complements, it was crazy! I got a big head knowing he has half my genes and I made him!
it was such a fun trip. And much needed. Im excited to take linc to Disneyland in the future. When he's a lil older. we did see some kiddie melt downs at the park, but luckily not from our lil man.
